Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the digitalinstitute.com.tr website (the “Site”) and use the forms on the Site, how this information is used and how it is protected. The Site is operated by Digital Institute.

This English version is provided for information purposes. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version of this policy prevails.

Detailed information on the processing of your personal data under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and on your rights is set out in the KVKK Privacy Notice.

What information do we collect?

You do not need to provide any information simply to visit the Site. Your information is collected in two ways:

  • Information you provide. When you fill in the meeting request form, we receive your full name, company, job title, employee count, email, phone number and optional message; when you fill in the guide download form, we receive your full name, company, job title and work email. The time of the consents you give in the forms is also recorded.
  • Technical information. Each time a request is made to the Site, the server logs information such as the IP address, browser and device information, the requested page, the referring address and the date and time, for security and error tracking purposes. This information is also attached to form submissions.

The Site has no membership, payment or online sales; no identity, card or password information is requested. We ask that you do not enter special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or ethnic origin) in the forms.

What do we use the information for?

  • Responding to your meeting request, contacting you and preparing a proposal,
  • Sending the guide you requested to your email address,
  • If you have additionally given consent, sending you our content and event announcements,
  • Ensuring the security of the Site, preventing misuse and spam submissions, and resolving technical issues,
  • Fulfilling our legal obligations and retaining consent records.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Cookies

The Site does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies for visitors; no cookies are placed in your browser for you to browse pages or submit forms. Strictly necessary cookies that keep the session open are used only for Digital Institute editors who log in to the content management panel (/keystatic).

If we start using an analytics tool for visitor statistics in the future, we will update this section and obtain your consent where required.

Who is the information shared with?

Your information is shared only to the extent necessary for the purposes above and with the following parties:

  • The service provider hosting the Site and the email infrastructure (its servers may be located abroad; the legal basis for the transfer is explained in the KVKK Privacy Notice),
  • Digital Institute employees handling your request,
  • Public institutions and organizations and judicial authorities authorized by law (only where there is a legal request).

How long do we keep it?

We keep form submissions for as long as necessary to fulfil your request and to conduct any resulting business relationship, and consent records for the period prescribed by the relevant legislation. When the period expires or when you request erasure, information that we are not obliged to retain is erased, destroyed or anonymized. Detailed retention periods are set out in the KVKK Privacy Notice.

How do we protect the information?

The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Form information is transmitted only by email, and access is limited to the employees handling your request. The forms are protected against automated spam submissions and are subject to rate limiting.

When emailing us directly, do not include confidential information such as card details or passwords; email transmission is not a fully secure channel.

Links on the Site may direct you to other websites (for example, to LinkedIn when you share an article on LinkedIn). Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies; Digital Institute is not responsible for their content or practices.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for organizations and business professionals; it is not directed at persons under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe that information belonging to a child in your care has been submitted to us, please write to kvkk@digitalinstitute.com.tr; this information will be erased without delay.

Your rights and contact

You have the right to access your information, to request its rectification or erasure, and to withdraw any marketing consent you have given at any time. How to exercise your rights is explained in the KVKK Privacy Notice. For questions about this policy, you may write to di@digitalinstitute.com.tr.

Rights to Site content

All intellectual and industrial property rights in the content on the Site, including articles, guides, images and designs, belong to Digital Institute, except for content belonging to third parties. This content may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without citing the source or obtaining permission.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by Turkish law. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction over any disputes that may arise from this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy in line with changes to the Site and to legislation. The current version is always published on this page together with its last updated date.
